9/11 was a bad day. Really bad, and that’s why – every year – we commemorate this daywith much emotion, remembering our loved ones and heroes who succumbed to the disaster. In 2011, one company decided to do something out of the ordinary.
On the 10th anniversary of 9/11, State Farm got some kids together to produce a deeply touching commercial in honor of the firefighters who did a great joband saved many lives on the fateful day.
In this video, you see some 150 kids, aged 8-11, crossing the Brooklyn Bridge and then heading to the firehouses. The little ones are singing “Empire State Of Mind,” by Alicia Keys and Jay-Z. It’s just great!
At the firehouses, something more incredible happens. You want to know what these kids did to the firefighters. Watch this!
The kid’s song is now selling on iTunes at just 99 cents, with all the cash going to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
Please watch this and be impressed. Don’t forget to SHARE with your Facebook friends!
